Mrs Tabanian’s mastery over calculus is unparalleled. Her ability to easily teach class material in a comprehensive manner is astounding. She is one of if not the best teachers at this school, and this class is one of the best classes to take.

I had Calculus BC with Tabanian. Before taking Calculus BC, you should be well familiar with your Precalculus. Being good at math, I found the concepts in this class easily understandable. The class goes very much by a structure. You listen to a video or lecture, take your notes, and do your homework. You get homework every class day except on test days; most of this homework is practice problems from the textbook. Scientific calculators are used on a few of the homework and test problems, but a lot of the problems simply require scratch paper and your brain.

I found Tabanian to be a pretty good teacher. She doesn't express much emotion and is very objective when doing her lessons. She presents concepts concisely and goes over plenty of example problems. She normally has good tricks for remembering information. You can get good answers when asking questions, but Tabanian normally likes to finish her lecture first. The only bad thing is that rarely she may happen to call someone out.
