Always study the review guides! He relies very heavily on them. Also look for patters, such as a T/F sentence that starts with T is true, and one that starts with F is false.

Always memorize the maps for easy 100s. Also take good notes, and listen to his stories. There is a massive map quiz at the end of the year so review all the maps frequently. Make sure to have black pens and always do the readings. He will often tell you what's important.
