The class I took with Mr. Bender was C. A. D. 1. The class can be boring at times, but working with C. A. D. is not only interesting, but fun. All grades are through OnShape, the program you use to create the models. Most grades are reviews of what you have learned in OnShape, while others are evaluations. There are big projects that are worth more points, such as designing a fidget spinner and a flexible model.

His class is very fast-paced, and you need to keep up. Often the only teaching he does is off of a slide show, and you're on your own from there. Strongly recommend review what you learned daily, instead of cramming all the information the night before a quiz or test. He is helpful when you are confused about a subject, but it isn't always as clear. Also strongly recommend watching YouTube videos such as Amoeba Sisters, which has tons of helpful videos, to help understand concepts even better. This class requires a lot of memorization, using flashcards or Quizlets will be very beneficial.

I would say just listen to mr Meyers. Long after graduating and meeting others in the field. His lessons on safety and proper use of equipment may or may not be the best education you will ever get in that area. They sure were for me.

The class I took with Miss Phillips was Honors Algebra II. The class is very fast-paced, and it is very beneficial to review what you learned from that day every night after school. Concepts are not necessarily difficult, but if you ever need help Miss Phillips is always there to help. Also, do the homework whenever it's assigned. The homework is often not graded, but occasionally she will come around to check for completion.

She will offer you a grace day, which is where you get an extra day to do an assignment. Don't use it on small assignments, hold it off for large assignments like essays. Read through directions thoroughly, and be sure to include everything in the question/prompt. Don't procrastinate, especially on the essays. Depending on the assignment, you can get to as low as the weekend to finish the assignment or a few weeks. Either way, space out your work and don't wait last minute. It will be less stressful and will help you do better in the class overall.

Don't be afraid to ask questions! Mrs. Schum is very passionate about the material and is happy to help. Also, if you need to email her, she can't respond outside of school hours due to security issues. There are a lot of presentations in the class, including the final, and while you have the option to work independently most of the time, there may be a required group project. Luckily Mrs. Schum usually gives options to choose from with different assignments.

As this is a chorus class, far the most important thing to do in this class is participate. Mr. Timmons is a very understanding and helpful teacher, and will easily tell if you are putting in the work and he will show he sees it and appreciates it.
