There is gonna be a lot of homework but just get it done. It will help you for the test and she expects it to be done. Although I didnt enjoy the class as it was hard, it really did prepare me for the expectations of STEM.

Memorize your formulas! Understanding the formulas and the way that the IB tests you on your physics knowledge is incredibly important. Use the lecture slides and use Mr. Brown's time! When you go through things in class it can fly by- but individual sessions really benefit and he is incredibly kind and easy to work with.

Memorize your figurative language terms! And I don't mean just a general idea I mean the exact definition because she will call you out on it and she will cold call. Despite this embarrassment, she's really great! The tests are all short answers so know the books well with easy evidence in your head to quote on the fly. Spark notes is definitely a good place to start but you will need to know the books really well so you're better off reading the books.

Personally, this class taught me how to write better than literature. I found the topics discussed in Civics and Gov quite interesting and you really do learn a lot in this class. He doesn't have very many tests, more project and essay based. Although it gets hard towards the end, it is a great class.

The best English teacher I have had, and its not even close. He is a very understanding person. He will work with you when ever you need it and he is the feedback king. For every student he takes the time to improve their writing and give detailed explanations as to why he took points off. He is a one of a kind teacher. Shakespeare is probably the hardest to read (for obvious reasons) but Broken April is the hardest to understand. Get ready to unpack some deep stuff with Broken April.

He whips timed writings out of thin air, yet after your done with the year, you will never fear a timed writing again. Otherwise, he was a great teacher with an amazing group acting project. Make him laugh and you'll be on his god side for life

Ms. Perez is by far the best science teacher I have ever had. Physics being a difficult subject did not stop her from making the class fun, interesting, and quite manageable. She truly cares about you and your well being. Although she doesn't assign much homework/practice problems, DO THEM! She also provides you with extra practice if needed. They will help you greatly on the tests. The space unit was my favorite.

To do well in this class I suggest doing the practices. The practices are designed similar to what the test will look like. If you practice enough, you will start to do well on the practices, allowing you to score better on tests.
