Class of 2023
I would say that the writing is pretty high compared to other classes but not necessarily in a bad way. I'd much rather be asked to elaborate on my opinion of something than to spit out random boring facts I've been forced to memorize. While there's a lot of focus on writing things, he's obviously not expecting it to sound perfect like an english teacher may expect. As long as what you say makes coherent sense, you'll be okay. One tip I'd say is to make sure you do your entrance or exit tickets if he has any that day, BEFORE class ends, as it's counted towards your participation grade and this grade usually can't be made up later. His course is overall very fun and interesting and a lot more enjoyable than other history courses I've had! P. S., he doesn't allow phones whatsoever and he isn't lenient on it, so don't test it, haha

Class of 2023
He's a very nice guy and very sweet and warm hearted and friendly. You can tell that he cares about everyone in his room and will be there for anyone if they ever need anything. He won't tolerate bad or rude behavior, but in no means does this mean he's rude or strict either. He just wants an enjoyable environment for everyone and as long as you don't try to cause trouble, you'll get along just fine with him. At the beginning of the school year he made it clear that he would NOT under any circumstances tolerate any racism, homophobia, sexism, discrimination, bullying, etc. in his classroom. He wants his class to be an environment where everyone feels accepted and I personally think he does a wonderful job of doing that.
