Do the homework. It's so easy nowadays to cheat on the homework to save an hour of time, but I cannot stress enough DO THE HOMEWORK. It is a total gamechanger and will help you immensely. Take notes in class and pay attention. Ask questions if you are confused. Go after school if you are still confused on something.

Dr. DeThomas is one of the best math teachers you could ever have. She teaches in a very engaging way and will help you if you ever need it. She cares for each one of her students on a personal level and wants every one of them to succeed. If you are lucky enough to get her as a teacher, please know her class may seem hard but it is one of the best classes you will ever take.
