Do the homework. It's so easy nowadays to cheat on the homework to save an hour of time, but I cannot stress enough DO THE HOMEWORK. It is a total gamechanger and will help you immensely. Take notes in class and pay attention. Ask questions if you are confused. Go after school if you are still confused on something.

Pay attention, it will get you a long way in this course. If you are confused, ask Magister, honestly. He will sit down and talk with you 1 on 1 and explain it to make sure you understand. Engage in the goofiness of class. The more you participate, the better you will understand the material and it will help a great deal.

Stay on top of the readings and pace yourself. This is not a class you can slack on for sure. It's a difficult course, but I would not deter anyone from taking it. This course makes you a stronger person, and your writing improves a great deal.
