What advice would you give yourself if you were just starting the class now?

Look at the module section if you need help with your essays. Seeing past essays for inspiration is always helpful. Also, try to finish your essay as early as possible (a week before the deadline), so you can go over your essay with Mr. Falkner and get as much feedback as possible. Seeing what mistakes you have in your paper before it's due and fixing it, will help your grade. In addition, I would recommend doing your best (aim for perfection) in any skills/knowledge and essay category assignments. It makes up a huge part of your grade, and if you screw the pooch on 1-2 of them, it can significantly change your grade even if you get a 100% on 40 out of 43 of the assignments.

Mr. Falkner is an absolutely amazing teacher. He makes the class so fun and enjoyable. He asks us about things we love, like marvel superheros. He is one of the best English teachers I have had, and he has helped me improve so much as a writer. I will forever be thankful for all the help he has given me and having him as a teacher will be one of the best things that can happen to you as a writer
