Look at the module section if you need help with your essays. Seeing past essays for inspiration is always helpful. Also, try to finish your essay as early as possible (a week before the deadline), so you can go over your essay with Mr. Falkner and get as much feedback as possible. Seeing what mistakes you have in your paper before it's due and fixing it, will help your grade. In addition, I would recommend doing your best (aim for perfection) in any skills/knowledge and essay category assignments. It makes up a huge part of your grade, and if you screw the pooch on 1-2 of them, it can significantly change your grade even if you get a 100% on 40 out of 43 of the assignments.

Do all the practice quizzes and tests that he gives you, and don't stop doing them until you get the score you want on the quiz/test because your practice test/quiz reflects what your real score will be.

Make sure to understand the DBQ, LEQ, and Short Answer format. There are lots of great youtube videos that cover it really well and can further your understanding. In addition, look at the rubric for the essays so you know how it's graded. Sometimes, PK doesn't even look at your essay and gives you a zero on contextualization. So make sure it's evident that you have put a contextualization (Ex: If you're talking about the market economy of the US becoming more self-reliant, you can talk about the War of 1812). I would also underline your thesis in your intro so he knows how long your contextualization is. Next, make sure to look at the Review Guide as most of the tests are from there. Even if you don't like doing the reading if you at least look at the Review Guide, you should be fine.
