Anyone who takes physics has passed algebra, so the only thing which makes the algebra hard for them is going between abstract formulas and their physical connection. The best advice I can give is to develop mental flexibility. Sometimes, a ball's motion is just 5 symbols, but in part b of the problem, it's the movement of an actual ball, with all the resultant physical effects, so just try to think about everything in both ways, math and physical connection.

In addition to being a great physics teacher, Asher is also a great role model. He gives kids ambitious goals, gives himself similar goals, and demonstates how to achieve them in a clean, stright-arrow type fashion. However, he also encourages creativity and doesn't feel bound by doing things "by the book. "
