Make sure that you aren't scared! Bly loves to talk and he's an actual joy to have as a teacher. He grades really easily, and his overall goal is to have students appreciate the subject of English way more and less about how much homework they need to turn in.

Generally, as long as you pay attention, you should be completely fine. Tests aren't a major part of your grade, which is something that Mrs. Corradi advocates for, so if you screw up a test, normal assignments can make up for it. Mrs. Corradi also reviews test material multiple times, so it is hard for you to forget the material. Even if you don't listen to her class, take notes or wait for her test prep material to come out. The test material highly reflects what is going to be on the test, especially the short answer questions. Of course, the downside to this class would be the workload. I always had more work coming from social studies compared to my friends. I would stay up late finishing her packets and textbook readings. However, she does this for a good reason, and the information tends to stick in your brain after talking, reading and reviewing a topic numerous times. In my opinion, it is really hard for someone to fail her class, because of the number of opportunities she provides to bump your grade.

For History classes, I mean you've been through school. Its just gonna be memorization and connecting events and making sure you understand what leads to what and why. I took both Dugan's honors world history class and I'm currently in AP euro and both classes have been an absolute treat. If you want a based history teacher and class, you're gonna love Dugan's courses.

The tests are almost all multiple choice, and if you've studied you will do well in the class. There is a lot of note-taking, so be on top of that. I ended with an A+, and I really liked the class.
