As long as you play your music you'll be perfectly fine. More often than not, he's always willing to help. Just don't use your phone in class. He also loves strong players, he says he likes to tame a band rather than beg them to play so don't be afraid to play out! (Just don't be an attention seeker)

He is an extremely nice teacher and likes to joke around. He may look mean but I promise, he's one of the nicest teachers I've ever had. Don't be afraid to ask him questions either. I highly recommend his class even if you don't think you're the best player. The band program is amazing and you make tons of friends from it too! (You also get to miss school some days for performances! )
