What advice would you give yourself if you were just starting the class now?

Class of 2022

Do all of the homework. Every concept is important, and you will be tested on it. Check your work repeatedly. The math 3 EOC is a lot easier than the class, as it is completely calculator active and you can use desmos.

Tests are always more difficult than the material in class.

I would suggest to get a tutor, and make sure to carve out a large piece of time to finish the daily assignments.

Class of 2023

This teacher, not only disrespectful towards her students, by asking them not to email her if a student has a question, rudely answering questions by students, and not willing to work with students thoroughly to understand the classes material. This teacher leaves no room for learning mistakes or error hence why the classes students are doing poor in the class. Over 80% of the class has looked into or hired a tutor, because the teacher is unfit to do her job correctly. The teacher claims she has 25+ years of teaching, yet isn't willing to teach her students. With finals coming up, my class is not only unprepared for the upcoming final, and not offered the same amount of knowledge as other classes, but we are also unfit to take our next math class. With parent's and student's reaching out to administration and said teacher about these issues, they simply deny that the teacher is in the wrong, and the student's simply need to start asking for help, and putting in a little more effort. How are student's supposed to ask for help if the teacher is unwilling to respond to our emails, and set up time to help us? Student's are spending 2-4 hours a night on just assignments for this class. With weekly project that take up to 10+ hours to complete, on top of that we have daily assignments that we only have 24 hours to complete, each daily homework assignments have upwards of 20-40 questions to solve. Then we have unit delta math assignments that take upwards of an hour to complete. Student's are asking that this teacher be reviewed for her actions in the classroom and reevaluated for her teaching practices. I understand that with being 100% virtual this year does make things a little harder, but I have received statements from past student's who had this teacher in a regular classroom setting, who received the same treatment. I have wonderful teachers this year, who are willing to work with me and help me understand the material, this teacher is not one of them and deserves to be reevaluated by a higher position to benefit her future students.
