Speak up! Also try to befriend some classmates; that helps a ton. Be prepared to work on a few presentations and skits with classmates. Don't worry about the tests and quizzes - they're pretty easy. Most of all, have fun! Psychology is that one class that blows your mind pretty frequently.

Mr. Corsbie is the GOAT. The guy is so chill. He'd often propose something dumb to us and then joke that if we're questioned by our parents, I said it, not him. It was really easy for me to make friends in class; by the end of the semester I had good chemistry with basically everyone. The projects and skits we had to work on were so fun. My friends and I would goof off until literally the day of presentations; it was all improv from there. Oh, and towards the end of the semester, he entertained us with a story in which he was inadvertently estranged from his friends in a snowstorm up in the mountains or something. Mr. Corsbie also called me an "all-star" when he signed my senior yearbook and later wrote my transfer recommendation to UNC. I'm pretty sure that gave me a massive boost.
