Calculus with fili is better than calc with any other teacher, but it is still very difficult (straight A students often find this class to be their first B class.

Make sure you always ask for help when you need it since material from previous units will be carried over to the next.

Mrs. Filipowski is one of the first people to make me enjoy doing math. On the first day of school, everyone was given a graph, and we could interpret it anyway we wanted to. Since I have an interest in astronomy, I thought of the data as something representing the distance between the earth and the moon. Mrs. Filipowski took great interest in my idea, which definitely encouraged me that math could also be about real-life interests, not only plain numbers.
