Do all of the homework every night, no matter how much it is, because you will end up suffering through the rest of the book if you don't keep up with her assignments. Take detailed notes of all of the analysis she goes over, it is usually helpful for the essays and tests. Know your literary devices. Overall, try your best to enjoy—it will be challenging, but it is truly a rewarding experience.

The homework quizzes end up counting for far more than you initially think. Study your book every night and make notes if it helps.
