Very thorough course with fun projects that test out the skills of coding unit by unit. Good preparation for the APJava test.
Ms. VIsbal is one of the most relaxed teachers I've ever had. At first it might seem like you won't be prepared, but the closer you get to exam day, you realize how better off you are in her class. While the rest of my friends were stressing out about their own teachers and classes, I was calmly going through my day. I got a 5 on the AP, and didn't get grey hairs in the process. Like any class, do the work assigned and you'll be fine. She assigns fun activities, and actually values your mental health. I wish she was a guidance councilor, honestly. Furthermore, she's one of the only teachers in the school who cares about the issues in the building. Thanks for being my English teacher, Ms. Visbal!
You get no tests and all homework is graded based on completion. Its an easy grade. You get like 2 homeworks per month.
When he gives you time in class to work on your assignments, take advantage and use that time.
