Honestly, the class isn't so rigorous or difficult that you have to spend a longer time than usual behind it. Just be sure to keep up with your work and participate. Lederer's really nice to you if you show effort in his class, follow instructions, and keep up with submitting your work adequately- just like any other teacher. So just do your work and show some enthusiasm in the class, and participate!

Class was pretty stressful in my experience. Lederer gave a lot of work with unreasonable time to finish them. He gave us an assignment and said to not worry about it to just later make it due right after the weekend. Has tests on random events in the book and is pretty strict on grading the short response section of his tests. However during online learning, he has lessened the work load A LOT after getting feedback from his students. His workload in the end was not bad at all.
