You must understand that Young Kim is like a melon: tough on the outside, succulent on the inside. Once you discover the sweet spot of just how silly you can get with him, he's hilarious. Since everyone is too terrified to participate, you have limitless opportunities to poke the bear. Have fun.

Lots of writing. Combination of structured and free-writing.

Read the books he assigns, his class is simply all about memorization, no critical thought is required so as long as you read what he assigns you will be somewhat alright. You must also be a fast writer, he often assigns a lot of writing. to be done in a short time.

Really preps you for the AP exam. Topics and class discussions are pretty interesting.

A very informative teacher with a great teaching style. Be prepared to write a lot (at least one essay a week).
