Always do the homework on your own, but if you choose to get answers from outside sources, make sure to ask someone to explain it to you. You HAVE to understand everything you're learning otherwise you're going to get lost very quickly. Mr. Chen is super knowledgeable and has lots of creative examples to help explain different algorithms and such. Best of luck!
