Best class I've ever had. Here are some tips: - Try to participate in class dicussions almost always (not required tho! ) - The tests are very fair and unless you read the book its an easy 100 - For essays, be more creative, and make the paragraphs flow! --> he expects more from your writing & wants to hone your skills in it - Not a lot of tests tbh! : the tests consists of multiple choice and a short response which is analysis of characters

Great class, write down which pages/passages are covered in class because these will be on the test. Try to volunteer at least sometimes. Use specific evidence to back up your points.

The best english teacher there is! English will become your favorite subject, his class was definitely the hilight of my sophomore year. You get to egage in not only writing and reading but also very creative projects (art & filming, editing). Amazing and unforgettable experience.

Love him and the class. He makes his class engaging with fun and unique activities and is always willing to help. He will also make you a stronger writer.
