For AP Lit: make sure you stay on top of the writing assignments and GO TO HIM for help. Going to class alone will not be enough to get a good score on the AP test. When it comes to grading writing assignments: good luck, I have no idea what his criteria are, it changes every time. I recommend you ignore the actual grade and just look at the comments he made.

Mr. D is a very eccentric personality, and I truly loved his class. He is funny and lively and keeps things interesting. The only issue is that with his eccentric tendencies comes a bit of an issue when it comes to him going on tangents during class or being inconsistent with his grading/asssignments. While I enjoyed being in his class, I feel like his inconsistencies made it hard to improve and it did not prepare me (or many others in my class) for the AP test.
