Class is hard, but its super interesting - you won't be bored thats for sure. Be organized, make sure you have ALL your papers, If you're a freshie he'll be a lot stricter than if you're an upperclassmen. The tests are never anything new, and always rely on the math - unless it's completely against common sense.

In order to succeed in this class, you must always pay attention in class(ATTENTION TO DETAIL) and you must be efficient with note-taking. As for homework, DO NOT expect to take answers from others and be fine. He will check your work and even if he thinks it's okay, there is a high chance of being called on to explain the answer. The point being made is to be prepared for class by reviewing notes and doing the homework properly. When it comes to taking tests, make sure to study well and remember to make a nice cheat sheet. And most importantly... listen to directions. I'm not going into detail but this is not a class you want to slack in. It will come around to get you.

Make sure you review your notes nightly because you will have to know them pretty well the next class. Also, pay attention and be ready to be put on the spot. Finish all your work unless he says not to. If he doesn't say anything, assume it has to be finished.

Overall, Mr. Sadowsky is a great teacher. He is very knowledgeable about what he teaches and he has a deep passion for teaching physics. He can be strict and quite blunt at times but it is for the good of students. Mr. Sadowsky always gets the class involved in experiments by having them come up and help him. Me personally, I got "shot" by him in an experiment(NOT ACTUALLY SHOT AT BTW). By the end of the course, I was able to learn a lot more than I thought I would have and his teaching style definitely helped. I learned how to pay attention to detail and I built better study habits. Most importantly I learned to not slack in class and it really helped me in all my other courses. This class definitely helped spark my interest and I will most likely be back to doing physics again at some point.

Just pay attention and work really hard. Sadowsky is a high expecting teacher with a difficult class.
