Class of 2029
You’re expected to read and annotate about 1-2 chapters for each book. The first quarter is challenging, but it’s just because of the shift from MS to HS. For each book in the first three quarters, you have two surprise reading checks. For A Raisin in the Sun, do NOT annotate. Read, but DONT annotate. There are not annotation checks for this book, but there is one quiz that was towards the end of the book where most people did bad on, including people who read. There are many times that he will say “I’m going to make you guys do [x, y, z] for a grade, ” but he won’t grade a lot. I’ve realized that for online assignments, he only grades them if they have both a due date and a point-worth assigned to them. Also, please don’t be an idiot and think that an assignment worth 6000000 points is being graded. Despite how much work this class is, Noebels is an incredibly good man and you are truly missing out if you drop his class or ignore him.
