do the worksheets multiple times before tests/quizzes and the last/newest worksheets he gives you are usually the ones being tested on!

Lots of fun having any class with her. Put in effort and it's a piece of cake. Make sure to do the homework, participate in the discussions, and ask questions and whatever, but other than that, her classes are awesome and you actually do learn quite a bit.

Her class is pretty hard, and it does take a lot of work to do well, but I did notice it was a lot more concrete than some of the other history classes, so as long as you know the facts and curriculum well, you'll do well on the tests. There is a lot of homework, but you don't need to spend too much time on it, just make sure that you actually do it to learn the material and have it ready for when she checks (you can pull it up on your computer, you don't always need to print it). Also, if you need extra help, just email her, she will always be very open to helping you as much as she can.

Make sure you do well on labs and actually do the homework and review materials so you have wiggle room on the tests!

Ensure that you are up to date on all the readings and whenever she says something is a key term, just know it will be on your test and is great to take note of during essays. Also, she posts a lot of useful updates about history competitions or even resources which are great for you as a student

The class is pretty average. Definitely not too hard. Not a lot of memorization required, and most of the writing is in class (iirc she doesn't assign that much homework). Make sure to be active in discussions and don't mess around too much if you're like me. Sometimes she does a lot of boring in-class assignments for one topic, but to be fair, the topics do stick, and I definitely remember a lot more in her class than I did in freshman year lit class with a different teacher.

Make sure to be organized as there are many labs for her classes and she also runs a research program which is beneficial for experience in medical science.

Do your homework sooner rather than later. The tests will consistently be on the longer side, make sure you can do the problems not only correctly but also quickly. Always do the optional practice sheets when you’re studying.

I didn't do well in freshman bio because I never did any of the work. She doesn't assign official homework other than just completing the occasional lab reports we start in class. She says to read around fifteen minutes of the textbook every night; I STRONGLY RECOMMEND. I didn't do this and ended up not doing super well in the class, but the one chapter that I did do that for, I ended up doing really well on the test. Just read a bit per night to reinforce the material you go over in class and you will do semi well at least in the class. It is hard, but not a lot of work to do well. Oh, and don't let the first quiz deceive you. It's completely different from the tests for the rest of the year. If she doesn't call it a quiz though then that means she stopped doing that quiz.

The class is very fun if you are interested in history, make sure to take note of everything she mentions in class and whatever details you think are important for the readings. You get a sense of what she finds is important during her lectures, so it is easier to take note of what is important in readings
