For US History II H, all you really had to do was be awake during the daily lectures and you'd most likely pass the exams. Some of the content was quickly skimmed or not reviewed in class but they're usually small details that wouldn't destroy your grade if you didn't know them for the tests. Regardless, a majority of your grade would come from the online assignments (assigned as homework) but as long as you put in a reasonable amount of effort into them, they're easy 100s. There's no reason one should fail the class (as in lower than a B) unless they cheat on assignments or just refuse to do them.

Good teacher who's decently easygoing, laughing at his jokes is a solid quarter of the course, honestly. Plenty of resources in the Canvas for you to look at if you get stuck or just miss part of the period/the day. Finishing any readings for the class on time is super important, you'll have at least one discussion or relatively short writing assignment after or with every one he assigns. Do you enjoy class discussions or fishbowls? No? Well, you're gonna have to, there's one at least once a week and if you're a quiet person you're gonna be feeling it in your grade average since he marks a lot of them as tests.
