If you just do the assigned work in the class and to pay at least some attention to class, you can easily get an A. Unlike other language classes, his German class isn't heavy at all with memorization or anything of the like. Tests/quizzes are generally infrequent, and you shouldn't expect a lot of homework. A large portion of his class' grades will come from classwork.
