Homework has a very low point value. Study from your quizzes when going into the test. Read through the textbook THOROUGHLY. Nothing in class is going to make sense anyway unless you're already pretty good at math and understanding all that stuff. Do all the review problems and focus especially on word problems if you already know the technical application. Guarantee that the calculator portion of the test will be comprised of mostly word problems.

Mr Gallo is a brilliant teacher and man, even if his class is difficult.
Class of 2022
Genuinely one of my worst and least favorite classes, and the rest of my grades are excellent. Feels nearly impossible to study for, doesn't feel worth it at all, and the lessons are boring. The class feels stuck in an era where students are talked at and expected to absorb everything, and the classwork is basically only a second piece of homework. Not enough points given for the amount of homework we have to complete. If I was allowed to drop down and out of this class to another teacher's class, I would in a heartbeat.
