Definitely check out the material posted every week so you know how much to do before Sunday night. Granted, a lot of the times during the regular school year I did just do the weeks worth of HW the night before it was due, but still take this advice. If school is still online while you're reading this, I highly recommend breaking up the work into 1-3 assignments every day of the week. By employing this method, I was able to get the class work done by Thursday every week,

Class of 2021
I decided to be the first review for Ms. Hoin on this site since RMT was wiped of years of student opinions. I won't debate the fact that there are a lot of kids who dislike her, or call her annoying, overbearing, and too giving of homework. The last one I cannot disagree with, but it's literally a language class. How else do you learn a language. Honestly, I felt bad for her a lot of the time because we had a lot of super annoying underclassmen who are basically still 12 years old in our class this year, and they drove her nuts. Despite this, those who aren't immature jerks and don't immediately hate teachers for doing their jobs would know that Senorita is an extremely intelligent and kindhearted woman. As a student who has formed a close bond with her during the school year, I have learned so much about her as a person. I have learned that she is a great role model to her students, especially the young girls. I have learned that she uses her fluency in Spanish and white privilege to aid the processes of Latinx immigration to the United States, as well as ensuring their knowledge of their rights. I learned that she loves literature and theater. I have learned about her respectful admiration and love for Hispanic culture. She is not condescending or demeaning to students, once again, especially young girls (there seems to be a problem at this school with middle aged white female teachers projecting their insecurities onto teenage girls). She is not a bad teacher. In fact, her class is actually extremely easy to pass. Before our grading became P/F, nearly every student of hers had an A, and I'd say half of those had over a 100% from generous extra credit given. Maybe this is a narrowly shared experience, as I frequently bond with my Spanish teachers because of my interest in the language and kindaaaa teacher's pet ways of life, but still. She's a nice person and I really enjoyed being her student this year. I hope we are in seat next year so I can see her in person. It's not hard to get to know someone, even your teachers.
