Don't be afraid to ask questions. Math is a hard subject and Mr. Farmer is great at explaining it in different ways. There's lots of resources to help, and the material isn't too hard if you put the work into it. Half-assing things will get you nowhere, be honest and put time into it.

His humor is witty and sarcastic. He can be serious when teaching important lessons, but that doesn't stop him from cracking a subtle joke every now and then (just to make sure his tired high school students aren't drifting off to sleep). He cares about his students, and is very passionate about math. He was my favorite teacher and I will miss him.
