Don't be afraid to ask questions. Math is a hard subject and Mr. Farmer is great at explaining it in different ways. There's lots of resources to help, and the material isn't too hard if you put the work into it. Half-assing things will get you nowhere, be honest and put time into it.

Make sure you follow her instructions exactly. The multiple choice sections of tests are the only portion you will get correct, the way she grades essays is hard to understand.

I would recommend checking your second semester paper multiple times because it counts for a significant portion of your grade (nearly 50%) and you are only given one assignment in this category (although you are not told it will be your only paper in advance). Work hard on the assignments you are given because you will not be given many.
