Go to him for feedback, even when you do really well on something, he usually will just straight up tell you what do next time, especially with claim teams. Also, TAKE NOTES. He will ask you the most obscure questions on quizzes that he mentioned maybe once in an entire unit.

There's lots of homework and you should do it. If you don't do it then you're going to bomb the many pop-quizzes and do poorly on the DEs (short writing assignment assigned almost every other night).
