Read the book and review summaries to be prepared for any pop-quizzes. He is passionate about analysis, so engage with the teacher about your thoughts on the book. If possible, talk with the teacher about things outside of the subject of English (ie. sports, worldly affairs, etc. ) since he has many interests outside of English.

He is very passionate about English and book analysis, so this class is a little more advanced than a typical Honors English class.
