Accept the fact that he is a non-conventional teacher and just go with it. You can really enjoy his class while learning a lot.

He is a very meta teacher, super fun class

Mr. Dickerman is the most amazing teacher I have ever had. While unconventional, he finds clever and fun ways to deliver life long lessons to the students. At the begging of the year a lot of students did not like the class because of his non-conventional teaching style. But by the end of the year, everyone loved him and regretted that they hadn't enjoyed his class earlier. If you are looking at the bad reviews these are probably from people who just started taking his course and have not accepted his teaching style.
