ap chemistry is a hard class. don't be discouraged if others are doing much better than you, just keep studying and work hard. ask him questions even if you think they are dumb. the quizzes will be insanely hard, you will either do well on the frqs or mcqs. thankfully there are quiz corrections where you do a worksheet and explain all the answers to him on video. he doesn't watch the video, only listens to them. here's a basic study guide for all of the topics: https://docs. google. com/document/d/1JDMwPeqHqrTv8iWoKLTPoAiQqB1bP3L6VbYX0el-kYU/edit? usp=sharing if the curriculum changes, this will no longer be relevant but it's helpful to read it before a quiz and study the topics you don't remember. the quizzes are usually every friday so keep thursday nights open for studying. the class is very fast paced so try to keep up and study often. it's a very diy class where you get a worksheet and some slides, and are expected to complete multiple pages. it's time consuming but helpful. problem is, if you aren't doing it right or don't know how to start it's not very helpful. just talk to him if you have any concerns or questions, he is very helpful and loves the subject. you might think that you are ready to fail or blame yourself for choosing the class, but keep going. you will know MORE than enough before the ap exam and will do phenomenally. good luck!

he also likes to play this game between his classes where he plays music all day and if you can name the ARTIST you get a point. at the end of the year, those points are counted and the class with the most points gets a prize. idk what the prize is tho. he's a very nice person and would love to discuss music or biking with you. side note: if you make any substance or gas, he will set it on fire. he loves chemistry and labs or demonstrations. so while you might not be doing the experiment, you get to watch and learn.
