Keep up with the readings; don't procrastinate. There's going to be occasional pop quiz reading checks, but not on a daily basis like other teachers. Finish your essays and be completely prepared for declamation at least five days before the due date.

While the curriculum in this class can be very difficult and hard to understand at times, the best advice I can give is to take detailed notes, do all your homework and build a solid relationship with the teacher. If you are in frequent communication with the teacher and advocate for yourself and your struggles you will 100% get the help you need, it's worth it, I promise!!

If you do all of your work, you'll get a good grade. Dates can be flexible, just message her if you need an extension.

This year was different because we had science everyday and this was Mr. Balickis first time teacher 2/4 units we did over the year. He is very knowledgeable, but sometimes he doesn't really explain things a lot, and this leads to having some trouble with homework. Overall he is a chill dude and very lenient about getting to class, and lab rules.

Group projects are a huge portion of each term's grade. Read the books, don't just use Sparknotes! Your understanding of the topics and your grades will thank you for this!

This class is very laid back, but also is a lot of work. He is a very nice teacher and overall is a very enjoyable class, you will have fun.

memorize EVERYTHING, and know how to translate... even if you're bad at that, know how to label and figure it out piece by piece... also review and practice at home, it wont be enough jus doing it in class
