Just participate as much as you can. Try and be relaxed in this class, Dr. Shea can be very humourous at times. A wonderful teacher, the best history teacher I've had in high school. Really pushes you to extend on critical thinking.

Teacher & class preps you extremely well for AP exam. Most students don't do all (or any) the homework. Homework is almost always just 10-20 pages of reading in a textbook + notes. Highly recommend learning how to take efficient notes for this class because you will need it for the class even if you have a "sponge" brain... it won't carry you through all the content. Quizzes/tests are all multiple choice with no weight. They'll be like max 5 projects for the whole year
