- Don't discount engagement assignments. Think of them like test prep.

The class is hard to do bad in as long as you try. Mrs. Bloom is really chill teacher and grades easily, but that doesn't mean you can slack off. Her tests are relatively easy if you listen to her in class and do the reading. But the final exam is very hard bc all the teacher collaborate on it, study hard for the Final. If you have her you are in for a fun year and an easy A.

Critical criticism of essays are prevalent throughout the entire year. Although we start with meditation, our grades end in misery.

Pretty much all you need to do is write notes along with the teacher. But you have to be careful because if you get one thing incorrect, you don't get credit. You can still make it up later for full credit.

Very nice and engaging class. Grading is a little strange but overall, fun learning environment.

Great class! Biggest tip: Utilize her office hours. Here almost every day after school for 2-3 hours. If you don't get something, go to her office hours. Also here before school. Pop quizzes every 3-4 lessons, 1-2 problem sets every quarter (everyone shares the answers) Probably don't zone out

Don't waste time trying to memorize equations. All of them are available on the tests.

Mrs. Kaiser is often absent in my experience mainly because she gets sick a lot and also has some personal days. The best way to deal with this is to do work for other classes, since she doesn't really post long homework assignments anyways, unless she wants you to be done by the end of class.

a lot of homework, mostly notes. READ THE TEXTBOOK! lots of tests too. many questions will ask you to choose the BEST answer out of multiple true answers, so be prepared for that

The teacher does assign homework but doesn’t check it but he does have homework quizzes every Monday. The class is relatively easy but you have to study for the tests otherwise you’ll be struggling. The class really builds itself and you have to memorize a lot of theorems so memorization is key in this class.

Great class. You have to participate though. If you don't like participating, take another class like AP Euro.

Just participate as much as you can. Try and be relaxed in this class, Dr. Shea can be very humourous at times. A wonderful teacher, the best history teacher I've had in high school. Really pushes you to extend on critical thinking.

In order to do well in this class make sure you pay attention and do the readings in Macro, Micro doesn't matter too much about the readings. He gives out a lot of extra credit so do those for an easy boost on ur grade. We go basically everything in class so make sure you take notes during the time that he gives you. The multiple choice section and free response question account for most of your grade so make sure to do well on those! It's mostly a test based class with a project or two during the year.

Teacher & class preps you extremely well for AP exam. Most students don't do all (or any) the homework. Homework is almost always just 10-20 pages of reading in a textbook + notes. Highly recommend learning how to take efficient notes for this class because you will need it for the class even if you have a "sponge" brain... it won't carry you through all the content. Quizzes/tests are all multiple choice with no weight. They'll be like max 5 projects for the whole year
