I've had her for the past 2 years (she got moved into 7th grade & then to 8th grade a year later), and you mostly just need basic study skills. She gives you everything you need for the tests in her lessons, so as long as you write detailed responses, take notes, do your homework (which is almost always given back later to be used for studying), & study for your tests you'll do great.

One of the best art classes I've ever taken! Sometimes you have to write in class, but it's always no pressure & he always emphasizes that spelling & grammar don't matter to him.

Participating in the discussions on the materials help a lot! He makes great quizzes & tests that are pretty easy to pass if you keep up with the material & study accordingly. He also allows index cards if you're going to write an essay in a test.
