Be ready to participate in discussions, as they tend to have a pretty big impact on your grade. Also, book quizzes count heavily too. MAKE SURE you read the assigned book because it is what affects a lot of the work you do. I remember spending quite a bit of time out of class for homework, which includes things like reading the assigned book, notes, projects, etc.

Mrs. Orth is a sweet, kind, and beautiful person. She values each and every one of her students and wants everyone to succeed. She gives quite a bit of work but it is understandable for an honors english class, so be prepared to participate! Mrs. Orth likes to make class fun sometimes, and encourages participation.
