Do not expect help without going to great extents to get it

I completely respect this teacher but wished he would have helped me more. I would ask questions and he would completely go the opposite direction of what I was asking. If you want help then you have to go to extreme lengths or just get a tutor. I say use your resources around you for help and if that doesn't help then get a tutor. I had one throughout that class and it brought my grade up so much.
