Definitely pay attention in Mr. Beers' classes so you don't miss anything. However, he will always be there to help you when you need it.
I would say take your time, enjoy the teacher she is fun, and tries to make the class fun for all ages. Take notes and study before checkpoints. The final exams are what are on the study guide. Talk to her she will tell your even more if you ask about the earths periods. I had her second semester and she made earth and space science really fun.
(For Honors) Make sure to do all of the practice quizzes before the reading quizzes, many of the questions appear on the reading quiz and also the Unit Test. Make sure to spend a little bit of time each day going over the terms so you are prepared for the Terms Test.
