Class of 2026
Prepares you very well for the AP Chemistry exam and future chemistry college courses. Very conceptual and the units build on each other (ex. using stuff you learned in unit 1 in unit 3) so it's hard to forget things + the strong conceptual foundation it builds lasts long and helps you work out types of problems you might not have encountered before. There is more homework than other classes and it is challenging but that's just AP Chemistry for you. Do your homework every day (or almost every day) and go to her help sessions.
Class of 2020
You must do your homework. Put a lot of effort to understand every concept that is being taught and why everything happens.
Class of 2021
It is all conceptual and you will have to explain WHY and HOW for every question and justify everything as well or else it will be counted as wrong.

Class of 2026
Caldwell can come off as intimidating but she's very sweet and dedicated to helping all her students. Show up to her help sessions, whether you need help or not because she'll reinforce concepts which'll help you later on. imo caldwell is the best chem teacher i will ever have, even after college. no one could put in as much work as she does or teach like how she does.
Class of 2021
The teaching style can be quite annoying at times (and a learning curve in of itself), however, I do believe that she has sincere intentions and will want to work with you to help you succeed.
