Perhaps the best teacher at the academy, Gaylene Hollis is a person who cares about her students and is passionate about her amazing profession. She has a wonderful personality and is the perfect kind of teacher to become friends with. She is always there to help in good times and bad, and supports her students every step of the way. I cannot imagine going through SJA without her advice and guidance. I therefore, without any hesitation, highly recommend to take a class with this brilliant, smart, and caring woman as she takes you through the amazing traditions, language, and culture of American Sign Language. -written by an Italian :)
