Current issues is a very laid back and easy class, but it is also valuable in gaining a better understanding of the world. The only things you are really graded for are participation (which really just means being attentive and not being annoying), and "position papers" (which should only be a few sentences long, and are graded for completion). It's very easy to get a 100 in this class - just do the little position papers when they're assigned and you'll be fine.

Mr. Sand is one of the most popular teachers at WHS for a reason: he's charismatic and energetic, and his classes are fun. He's a strong advocate for the happiness education of his students.
