Forensics is a fun and easy class. He give a lot of assignments, but they're not hard at all. Just hand them in. Labs are easy and interesting. It is a new class (as of 2022), so have patience. There are few quizzes, and they're all easy multiple choice questions - just pay attention and do the worksheets/ actively participate in labs. Very very basic math involved in the class.

Mr. Horan is an incredibly kind person, and deserves respect. He's very passionate about the field of forensic science, so ask questions and engage in class.
