Stats: I know the suggested practice questions aren't graded - DO THEM. For the final project, give yourself time to write the paper, and follow the rubric closely.

Don't get on his nerves, and don't be late. He's rough around the edges, but he ultimately cares about your success. He teaches through story-telling, which is helpful for some and confusing for others. That's why it's important to take advantage of those practice questions. And - despite his intimidating presence - he's willing to address confusion and give extra-help outside of class. He takes some getting used to, but he's not a bad teacher at all.
