Always do your homework on time. It is very important because it is usually used the next day in class. This class uses a lot of preparation. Please make sure you're on task for at least this class because it is very noticeable when you tered'>dont have a good understanding of the topic. Kind of a transparent class in a way that if you're not doing your work thoroughly, it shows, so know the topics your studying. Being a freshman, It was a big switch from middle school, This class has extensive work so be ready for that because it can be overwhelming at times but looking back I think it was a good experience because it stretched me out of my comfort zone just enough. In the moment it seems impossible but 9th grade history truly had a positive impact on my school and studying abilities. Looking back. I definitely would have liked if I worked harder at having a true understanding. although its schoolwork, by the middle and end of te second semester I really truly soaked in the history and it felt kind of separated, like the work was one aspect and truly appreciating and understanding the history was another aspect. This class had a positive impact on me academically and personally.

In order to do well with the course, try to understand how the information works together. Use flashcards, quiz yourself, but mainly try to grasp how certain things correspond to each other. History isn't black-and-white, it's a continuous story.

Positive impact. I truly enjoyed this year. By the end of the year I learned to truly soak in the history and one aspect was the schoolwork and another was having a good understanding of the history. I've always been interested in history and this class impacted positively on my love for the past and humans generally. My only complaint would be the workload, but I personally think Mrs. Arastu puts a lot of work on us so we could have a good understanding. I think she's an amazing teacher and I think she has her tactics to have us truly soak of the content by the end. Mrs. Arastu if you're reading this, I want to tell you that we never really talked that much but looking back, you truly impacted my maturing as well as finding what im passionate about. I feel like you never get that far from surface deep in conversation but you do in a different way which I think is so cool. I always had a love for history but the workload of its classes in the past, masked my love for it. Thank you Mrs. Arastu, Your history class truly impacted my life.
