Class of 2026

His classes are challenging, depending on if you're taking APUSH or US History A. (Obviously APUSH is harder than US History A). Mr. Hernandez basically never assigns homework and he always sparks thought-provoking discussions. Note that he does cold-call on people, and for some people that can get awkward. Just don't doze off in class, and definitely don't be disruptive. Also, if you're worried about APUSH being hard and you got him as a teacher, trust me you will be fine, his exams really aren't that hard and I have gotten a full score on all the LEQs and DBQs we took. This is not because I am extremely smart, but because he makes the rubric very clear.

My most favorite teacher I have ever had was Mr. Hernandez. I had him as a sophomore and junior. He does a great job teaching the class and I would recommend NOT dropping APUSH in his class, no matter what he recommends to you after the "dreaded summer assignment test", it does get better because he makes the class extremely easy.
