You cannot count on the class lectures to do well in the class. The slides and class lectures cover basic information, but the homework and tests are much more advanced and on concepts the teacher never really covers in class. Take the projects ver seriously because they are worth 100 exam points. Some of his tests means are very very low because he doesn't really teach anything. You can still get an A in the class with projects, labwork, and lots and lots of outside tutoring. He also doesn't grade labs and tests until months and months after the due date.
